About Us

Hi! My name is Rachelle and I am the creator of Barasano designs. I love all things vintage and have been crafting and creating for as long as I can remember. My Grandma taught me how to sew when I was seven. I would sit and watch her take small scraps of fabric and turn them into beautiful Barbie clothes for me!  I have always been enthralled with the idea of taking one thing and making it into something else. This is where my love of up-cycling and recycling in a lot of my projects comes into play. I feel my creativity thrives and I am also helping our beautiful planet… even if it is a small step at a time! The tri state area of the northeast is where I call home. I’ve been married to the love of my life for 19 years. We have two amazing sons and two cuddly canines.
